  2005年中科院物理研究所获博士学位,同年获日本科学技术振兴学会博士后奖学金(JSPS)资助,于产业技术综合研究所工作,从事铁电存储器、非挥发逻辑电路的研究。2008年于湖南大学工作,任物理与微电子科学学院教授,湖南省杰青,主要研究方向包括微纳器件制造、微纳传感及新能源材料与器件。2013年到厦门大学萨本栋微米纳米科学技术研究院工作,闽江特聘教授,博士生导师。已发表SCI论文100多篇,申请专利9项并获得其中3项的授权。累计SCI他引已超过3000次,H因子24,被40多本国际专著引用,获得了2008年教育部自然科学一等奖。
