  Some of this can be attributed to the lack of morality, a problem shown particularly in the younger generation. Their sense of moral standards seems to be withering although their material comforts have been considerably enhanced. What makes matters even worse is the fact that such misdeeds as spitting, picking flowers in public gardens or making noises in public places are becoming so pervasive that they are likely to be taken for granted by the public. And a greater emphasis on self is thriving.

  Moral decline will not be reversed until we find new ways to improve our moral standards. For adults, we can make use of every chance to remind young people of the importance of good manners, both as a competent citizen in modern society and as a model for them to follow. Only in this way can the moral climate of our nation be improved, and we sincerely wish that the young man in the picture could realize that he has sit on a “wrong” seat.

  范文二： 诚信

  Take drug abuse as an example. Although the International Olympic Committee has forbidden the use of drugs and implemented urine and blood tests, there are still athletes who take risks, counting on their luck to escape the tests. It is probably the inevitable result of the change in the purpose of sports. Sports were once related to friendship and fair competition, but now more with nationalism, national anthems and national flags. People are encouraged not to appreciate individual’s skills and strengths, but to support their national teams. Sports are also related to personal success and money. If you win, you win fame and money. And for these, athletes will do anything, including cheating. This is long way off the original aim of sports of Olympics, which is to improve health, promote cooperation and teamwork, provide enjoyment and increase friendship.

  To stop cheating in sports, it is not enough only to strengthen rules in competition. We should also highlight the original purpose of the sports and minimize negative influence of commerce and narrow nationalism. Moreover, those who stick to the spirit of sports should be rewarded even though they are not the winners.

  范文三： 人与人之间冷漠

  There are many reasons accounting for this phenomenon. Firstly, since most people have to lead an on-the-move lifestyle, they have few opportunities to share their feelings with others,. Secondly, while there are so many dishonesties going around, they prefer a dog, which is more faithful to them. Since a pet is loyal to his master and acts as the instructions of humans, a person has no need to get along with his neighbors who may be against their opinions, which is a threatening situation we are unwilling to see.

  From what have been discussed above, there are at least two approaches to cope with it. For one thing, we should strengthen the social contacts between neighbors. For another, it is demanding for us to keep people aware of the importance of communications instead of staying with a dog alone. However, it is easier said than done. Only when you pay attention to it can you see a colorful and harmonious future.
