　　1999年7月毕业于华南理工大学，获材料学（高分子材料方向）博士学位。先后在岳阳大学（现湖南理工学院）化工系（1992～1996）、广东通用科技研究所有限公司（1999～2001）工作。2001年10月至今在华南理工大学材料学院工作，2007年起任教授，2008年任博士生导师。

　　从事功能高分子材料、高分子材料结构与性能领域的教学与科研。近年来承担了多项国家及省部级科研项目的研究工作。研究兴趣包括：（1）新型金属有机高分子的合成、自组装、结构与性能关系；（2）高分子自组装、结构与性能研究；（3）水性及UV固化涂料、油墨及相关的高分子乳液、树脂等的合成。迄今为止，已在Chem. Commun., Macromolecules, Langmuir等国内外刊物发表SCI收录论文40余篇，SCI他引200余次。申请中国发明专利5项，其中获授权1项。2005年获教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”资助。
